Most of you have had access to a SMARTboard throughout the entire duration of your school experience. The board allows you to:-See and visit websites, for example the HMS Homepage and your homework, TeacherTube, Discovery Streaming, Wordreference and many others.
-Touch it, for example during warm-ups for tickets, le tunnel magique, matching, snake, and 'agents en noir'.
-Draw on it, for example when we draw angles for geometry or answers for mental math quizzes.
-Watch videos, our photostories and see edited 'Picnik' pictures.
- See the progress of a Senteo test, for example the results and averages of the class.

i think that i like the smartboard because we can watch videos for science on it so its big enough for everyone to see we can also go on youtube on it or we can do interactive games for math. the smartboard is very helpful when you need to show the class something quick because it is very large and the whole class can see it.

I like using the smartboard, It helps alot because the teacher dosnt have to go to the students desk to help, she/he can just turn on the smartboard and start explaning.My favorite activity is either Drawing on the smartboard,or doing the activities like magic tunnel or the vortex.

my favorite thing about the smart board is defenitly the effects that you can make. Such making stuff zoom in and out, difrent colors, pictures and all sorts of other amazing stuff! I love how you can be as creative as you wanna be, their is just to many special effects to count! It also add origanality, I mean how many times do you see a monkey flying across the screen with the word happy time flashing in multi colour. For me the special effects are the best!

i like the smartboard. it is very interactive and thats why i like it so much. My favorite activity has to be either the magic tunnel or the vortex. I like drawind on it ,too. It is big enough for the whole class to see it. I like the games we play in math, like waching youtube videos and the magic tunnel.

smartboard is very helpful,way better than a piece of paper and even the computer,for example on the smartboard you can do every thing a computer can do and more including agents en noir,le tunnel magique,and instead of using a mouse you can use your hand so basically it's interactive.You also can interact with the senteo for example once you put an awnser on the senteo you can see that you wrote your anser on the smartboard and it also lets you see who got the right ansers and how many got it nright and wrong and who.kz27p
I LOOOOVE Using The SMARTBoard Because When I Lived In Riverview Our School Had ONE SMARTBoard!!!And During My 5 Years Their I Only Used It Three Times!!!!So Here I Have Learned To Use It And We Can Play So Many Games And We Can Watch The Videos ON It Like 'Agents En Noir'.

i dont really have a favorite thing about the SMART board so i basically like everythingbecause i had a SMART board in my class since grade two so i am soooooooooooooooused to them and know them like the back of my head.

I think the smartboad is very useful in class.It makes kids ant to learn more because they want to use it. It is very good for this computer age,for we love to use the computer the smartboard is basically a giant computer. My favorite thing to do with the smartboard are the sentio test we do.The sentios are very fun to use and you get instent results.

the smart board was designed to make learning fun,and it does just that!the smart notebook gallery has multimedia that makes learning things easy.i love the smart notebook and the way you can have cool pens and add pages.its like a really convieniant chalkboard!my favorite thing to do on the smart board is when when we play with the vortex,and learn funny/new/fun facts,such as "(quote)a squash is a fruit."i was the one who got that question wrong in the first place,so i'm gonna remember that.
i also like the opinion tests on the scenteo.yeah,i think thats my favorite one.i like seeing the answers that people give,and knowing that we're not all loners in what we think.so, until the next blog,this is gf9p signing out.

The Smart Board rulz! Its drawing and dragging provides fun warm-ups. It beats a regular computer in class because we don't have to crowd around it! We can easily explore the web as well. It also provides a new link: Smart Notebook! Uhhhhh, I can't think of anything else to say! Ahhhhh!

I think the Smartboard is helpful for the class because you can see instant results on the Senteos and you can draw on the Smartboard to show examples if nobody understands what they're doing in class.My favorite thing to do on the Smartboard would be : the magic tunnel,Jeopardy! and the Skype system.I loved to be able to talk to my penpal.

Smart Board is helpful during class and we can learn better by doing the activity ourselves. Like "Rechauffement" and "Tunnel Magique". Smart Board is better than the old green chalkboard and chalk, because when people used to use the chalkboard the only one that could use the chalkboard was the teacher was the only one that could touch the chalkboard. My favorite activity on the smartboard is...the activities that includes writing on the smartboard. I don't know why its my favorite activity it feels cool to write on the smartboard.

I like using the smart boards mainly because of all the cool affects you can make, Like changing the back ground. making stuff bigger, And being able to get stuff out of photo gallery. I like the smartboard because it's, easy to see, has fun game like vortex and magic tunnel and the teachers don't have to walk around to show the students everthing, the teachers can just put it on the smartboard. i also like the senteos because it's easy to get your mark after a test, but the best part about the smartboards is that it's an easy way to learn and it's an easy get infomation on anything you need.

i love using the SMART boreds. they are very big. they are also easy for people to see. you can use your sense of touch and interact easily. it is very helpful for showing the class videos and interactive games. my favorite thing to do with the SMART bored is waching videos.

I love the smart board! It is great because when Mlle.Barrieau wants' to show us something quick it is there to show the class and no one has to squint. It makes it really fun for us kids because we love to go up to the front of the classroom and touch the board! Also it is probably a lot easier for Mlle.Barrieau because she doesen't have to get everyone to come around the computer or she doesn't have to repeat everything. It is even better for Mlle. Barrieau because it actually makes the kids want to use the Smart board so us kids actually have to work in order to do the fun part! I love doing the math warm up because we don't just say the answers we get to go up to the board and write it and move it!
SmartBoreds are helpful in school because insted of crouding around the small computer screen you can see the screen better,and you don't have to wast paper by printing out the work sheets you can just copy it off of the SmartBored.You can also play games on the SmartBored for math like Jepordy and it is alot of fun!

I like the smart boards because they give you clear view of what you are doing and it makes things more fun I also enjoy that u can get involved with your work. I like the vortex because you get to group things and I like snake because it challenges your brain and you need to be quick.

I like the smart board because we are able to see the smart board very well and makes everything more fun to learn. Some of my favorite games to play on the smart board is the magic tunnel because it lets you drag the equation to the other side of the screen to get back the answer. I also like snake because it helps you answer a question very quickly and have competitions with the whole class. That is why I LOVE the smart board in the class.

i think the smartboard is a good thing for the class beacuse you don't have to go to the computer all the time and every one can see and not just one person. the smartboard is good beacuse it is easy to click stuff and it is interactive stuf like the timer and the sounds on the pictures. you just click on the little speaker and it macks the sound of the pictures.
I think the smartboard is helpfull because if you want to show the whole class someting it is easy to see becasue the samrtboadr is so big. My favorite thing on the smartborad is Notebook 10 because you can do a bunch of cool things on it .

I think the smart boards are really good and fun to use.IT is really easy for the teacher because she dosnt have to get out of her/his seat to giveout papers or pretty much anything thing. I think that using smart boards is really fun when we especially use snake how you use that is you stand up and then a question comes to you have like five seconds to answer it. And if you don’t get it you have to sit down. Also we use jeopardy that is really fun .we also use the magic tunnel that is when there is two different colors on the screen and you take a number threw the tunnel then it comes out on the other color it comes out the answer .when we use YouTube it is especially easy we can see it on a big screen and discuss instead of every one huddling around the computer screen .so yes I think that using the smart board makes the learning environment easier for the students and the teachers

I like the smart board because we can use the wireless slate instead of going up and doing it. I like how we can watch videos and the whole class can see it. I also like play the games like the magic tunnel and agents in noir. And when Miss.Barrieau needs to show us something she can just put it on the screen so everyone can see. I think that the Smart Board using is great because..... It is big so the class can see it, and all the games we play in math are fun! Also I like watching videos on the Smart Board for Science instead of hovering around a little screen, and all the results are on the board for senteo. Also for are homework so we can copy it off the board. The Smart Board is a lot more fun then an old chalkboard.

I like the SMARTboard because it helps with learning new things. You cn touch it and you can see it much bigger, I think it makes learning easier like when we do 'agent en noir' it helps with math, or when we use sento's to see quiz results.
My favorite activity would probably be snake it still helps with math because you only have a short period of time to answer the question.
I like ' tunel magique' because it looks really cool the question goes in and the answer comes out.
I like using the SMARTboard to draw on SMART notebook and putting out homework sheets to correct on the doc. camera.
