On Tuesday, we had special guests Leonne and Sjaak; teachers visiting from the Netherlands. They were quite impressed with all of the interactive technology that we use everyday in our class. They even tried the Senteo Interactive Responders, in the form of a Math quiz on Equivalent Ratios. Describe a favorite interactive lesson activity that you would enjoy sharing with a classroom guest.

I enjoyed having them there because when they were there, because when they were there we got to teach them about our Senteos and now that's two more people that know about Senteos.

It was really interesting having then here because they seemed really interested in the sentos and so it was just that much funner to be able to show them what we do with them. it was also really fun because they actually did the test with us, it was awesome!!!!!!! :)

it was cool having the people from the nertherlands if i where to show them somthing i would show them the senteos they make the test funner and better. also with the senteos you wont get to bored and fall asleep it keeps you awake. its also cool at the end where you see the results on the square thing.... i forget what its called :P

we would play vortex because its fun and it teaches us about stuff like country's food and people.
The point of it is that there is two vortexes and each one has a catigorie and there's a list of words that you have to drag to the right vortex

I never saw the people from the netherlands but i bet it was cool!
I like the vortex activity because its fun . It can teach you things like whats a fruit and whats a vegetable . There arwe two vortexes and you drag a word into one of them and if its right it goes down the vortex but if its wrong it spits it out.

If i had the chance to show someone from another continent what we use on a daily basis it would probably want to show them the the smart bracelets, because they are cool and not easy to lose. They might not be the coolest looking thing but i think anyone from another country would be amazed by them. If i were a visitor from a different i would definately like to use them
The activity that I would enjoy sharing with a guest wuld be the Senteo.Also I would love to share the Jeopardy game.

i dont know what to think because i didn't get to see or meet them but i think it would have been cool to interact with them.i would show them the SMART document camera because it is an awesome innovation in the world of presentation,because it really helps the teacher present something on the fly. i would also show them the portable slate because it makes it possible for the teacher to sit any where in the classroom.finally i would show them the game of jeopardy.it is a great way to lean and play at the same time.i personnaly love all these activities.

i thought it was pretty cool how we have a whole bunch of tech stuff and they get to see how cool the tech stuff is.
I like the warm-up games because they are so different from activites on paper! Even on the internet like agents in black they are also fun games or learning activites. I like being technologic but if the games is to much like activites did on paper it'l be a bit borring.

If we had a visitor from a different country I would like to show them the warm up's we do in language arts class for example; the opinion question's we do with the sentio responders. It helps us learn to understand eachother's point of view and what our peers like and have to say.

if somebody came in to our classroom then i'd like to show them a lot of stuff but thet would get boring and he/she would get more and more eager to leave so i'd show only some of the many cool stuff we do in our class. like the mini games we play on the smart board or jeopardy. fun stuff not boring stuff. others are pretty good like agents noir or brainpop and thats basically all of it.kz27p

smart interactive responders are really cool if you use it in the class and Mme Barrieau asked you a questions about if you like the smart interactive responder she can get the anwsers

i would show them the senteos cause there are cool to use. And also the magic tunnel because its fun to use too cause you slid a question through a tunnel and it comes out the answer on the other side i would also show them the vortex that is fun if its the wrong answer it spits it out

I would show them the magic tunnel! It is really fun to use for math! You have one question on one side and then you slide the the question over to the other side and then it will give the awnser right on the smartboard.It's way better than writhing on a peice of paper

By having the netherlands coming it was really great we teached them how to learn the senteos and they thought it was amazing that they got the mark of the test back so fast if other people came in i would want to show them how we do are smart notebook 10 like are magic tunnel,snake and jeopordy is they are really fun too.

If they ever came back i would show them the vortex or the magic tunnel becasue the vortex gives you two different categories and you have put different words in each in the right one and i like the magic tunnel because it builds tension when u are draging it threw.

I would talk whoever came in about the smart braclet and senteo.First I would talk about the smart braclet and how its like a mamory card/chip, Iwould also say its an easier way to save and load progects.Next would have to be the senteos and how easy it is to get your mark and see the answers you got wrong. Well thats all I have to say.

i think that it was really fun and that having different enviroment in our class room espeshaly with them being from the netharlands.so i think that we should go and tell eeryone about the jepordy games that we play all the time .... miss barrieau splits the classs in half and we would go in teams aslowe have a team leader then we click startt and then the team leaders will pick a student to awsner the question and then we go and have fun the rest of the way some of us are comprtitive but mostr of us have fun.

i think the vistors form the netherlands liked the sentos and had fun doing the math test i love doing votes in LA and its cool to use wirelss slate doing agent a noir and gepordy.

If people from other contries came to HMS,I would definetly Show them the slate,because we can comlete computer questions with the Men In Black and such. I would also show them the Jeopardy! game, because I watch Jeopardy! whenever it's on and I think that that is too cool to play it in class. RK13p

i love the opinion tests in l.a.!
it shows what people think and the pie charts show how many people said what.answering fun questions that are quick and easy to answer.
